SR DevOps Engineer

Overview

Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and automating cloud-based application environments using Microsoft Azure and related DevOps tools.

What you'll do

• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot application deployments.
• Improve site reliability, application performance, uptime, and incident-resolution metrics.
• Build automation tools and implement infrastructure, build, scaling, and project automation.
• Design and implement software-defined infrastructure using cloud standards.
• Monitor issues through resolution and keep stakeholders informed.
• Collaborate with IT, cloud, security, product engineering, and development teams.
• Lead initiatives that streamline operations and improve systems availability.

What you'll need

• 8–10 years of experience in software application development.
• More than 5 years of hands-on DevOps implementation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, SonarQube, and MS SQL configuration and scripting automation.
• Proficiency in SQL, PowerShell, YAML, Python, and Unix shell scripting.
• BE/BTech, MTech, MCA, or MSc in Computer Science Engineering.

Nice to have

• Linux, Windows, or Unix administration experience.
• Experience with BlackDuck compliance scanning.
• Experience in DevOps implementation for mobile apps.
• Knowledge of AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
