Cloud Engineer, Specialist

Overview

Provides expert-level technical support and engineering for critical enterprise cloud platform projects. The role focuses on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, production operations, security, reliability, automation, and scalable cloud solutions.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and deploy cloud computing systems.
• Support, monitor, and troubleshoot production cloud platforms.
• Develop technical standards and maintain cloud architecture documentation.
• Manage hybrid cloud environments and automate deployment and scaling.
• Implement cloud security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering and application teams on scalable cloud solutions.
• Train and mentor junior staff and resolve escalated technical issues.

What you'll need

• At least 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure management, or cloud operations.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT, such as B.E./B.Tech, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including networking, security, IAM, monitoring, logging, and governance.
• Experience supporting production cloud platforms, including incident management and service reliability.
• Strong knowledge of OCI networking components and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, GitHub, Bitbucket/Bamboo, Infrastructure as Code, and automation.
• Experience with technical leadership, mentoring, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
