Overview

Support a large multiyear Finance cloud migration and enablement program by providing technical SME support for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) administration, networking, and native IaaS/PaaS services, along with Oracle EBS R12.2 administration.

What you'll do

• Provide technical support for OCI native services, OCI tenancy build, compute, storage, IAM/identity domains, and overall OCI admin functions.
• Support the OCI migration assessment, including solution architectures, impact analysis, and assessment of alternatives.
• Support the development and manage scheduling of all required technical and engineering activities.
• Lead the implementation and sustainment of an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environment and supporting components.
• Identify, analyze, and maintain secure configurations across technologies.
• Identify and maintain technology solutions to support enterprise reliability, scalability, availability, security, and performance needs.
• Configure, manage, audit, and alert on the security of the OCI environment using observability tools.
• Troubleshoot routing issues across Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), subnet lists, route tables, network address assignments, firewalls, and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs).
• Administer, configure, and maintain Oracle EBS R12.2.x in an on-prem environment.
• Perform Oracle EBS R12.2 application and database cloning, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful refreshes across development, test, and production support environments.
• Support Oracle EBS R12.2 patching, backup and recovery, routine maintenance, and assist with performance tuning and operational support of application and database environments.
• Complete and provide required documentation and service request forms to acquire additional hardware and software in accordance with existing procedures.
• Generate documentation relative to the design, operation, configuration, and security of the environments.

What you'll need

• Total 5 to 8 years of IT experience, with 4 years of progressive experience supporting Oracle Cloud.
• At least 3 years of prior experience supporting Oracle EBS R12.2 environments and Oracle database administration functions, including application administration, cloning, patching, and backup and recovery.
• 2+ years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle ERP Fusion applications and integrations with Oracle OCI.
• Must have hands-on experience with one or more of: OCI architecture and administration, OCI networking, OCI security.
• Good understanding of cloud services roadmaps, reference architectures, standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Collaborate with other architects to ensure appropriate application of technology and fit of cloud services into the overall enterprise architecture.
• Ability to make sound decisions consistent with essential job functions.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science.

Nice to have

• Preference for candidates with one or more OCI technical certifications.
• Experience as Oracle ERP APPS DBA, administering Oracle EBS R12.2+ or Oracle Fusion ERP in on-prem or cloud.
• Experience in cloning, patching, and backup recovery of EBS R12.2+ including knowledge of ODI and OBIEE, performance tuning, SQL profiling, DB export/import, and some database DBA skills.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalling.
• Deep expertise in designing solutions around OCI native services such as OIC, ADW, and OAC.
• Strong understanding of storage, networking, and filesystem layout.
