Cloud Migration Engineer

Overview

Cloud Migration Engineer role that assesses existing solutions and infrastructure for migration to the cloud and plans, delivers and implements application and data migrations using private and public cloud technologies.

What you'll do

• Assess existing systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments.
• Plan, deliver and implement application and data migration with scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration processes and address challenges that arise.
• Document migration strategies and best practices to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Assist junior team members with guidance and support during migration activities.
• Monitor migration progress and adapt plans to evolving project needs.
• Perform independently and become an SME; actively participate and contribute in team discussions and problem solving.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cloud Automation and DevOps.
• Must have: proficiency in Cloud Automation and DevOps.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment models.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting for cloud environments.
• Ability to design and implement scalable cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with monitoring and performance optimization in cloud platforms.
• 15 years full time education.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloud Migration Planning.
