Overview
Support the security, reliability, availability, and performance of NICE's cloud and datacenter infrastructure as a Full Stack Cloud Operations Engineer. The role covers Windows, Linux, AWS, VMware, and physical compute environments on a 10 PM to 6 AM night shift.
What you'll do
- Monitor and support enterprise production infrastructure for uptime and performance.
- Administer AWS cloud resources and services.
- Troubleshoot incidents and resolve operational issues under defined processes and SLAs.
- Manage DNS, FTP, IIS, application environments, Active Directory, and identity services.
- Participate in on-call rotations and communicate critical events to stakeholders.
- Support datacenter hardware installation, cabling, racking, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Implement patching, capacity planning, account management, and infrastructure optimization.
What you'll need
- 3+ years supporting large-scale production infrastructure environments.
- 3+ years administering Windows Server in enterprise production environments.
- 3+ years configuring and supporting server hardware and operating systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Domains, DNS, and enterprise infrastructure services.
- Experience with Windows and Linux patching and maintenance.
- Intermediate Linux administration and experience with change management processes.
Nice to have
- Experience with regulated compliance environments such as PCI-DSS or Cyber Essentials.
- Experience with AWS EKS, ECS, Chef, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Experience managing SAN/NAS storage, Okta, Cisco UCS, or hardware lifecycles.
- PowerShell or other scripting experience for automation.
