Cloud Platform Engineer

Overview

Engineer and operate a secure, scalable cloud platform foundation, managing an AWS Landing Zone and supporting landing zone capabilities across additional cloud providers.

What you'll do

• Design, build, test and deploy cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy infrastructure and platform environments.
• Create a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security and performance.
• Manage the AWS Landing Zone and its multi-account governance.
• Enforce enterprise security and compliance standards.
• Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code.
• Design core networking.
• Support landing zone capabilities across additional cloud providers.
• Take hands-on ownership of platform architecture, governance and secure operations at scale.

What you'll need

• 15 years full time education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• AWS Architecture (must-have skill).
• AWS multi-account governance (Organizations, SCPs, Control Tower).
• Advanced Terraform (module development, state management).
• Cloud security and compliance frameworks and tooling (e.g., CIS, ISO 27001, Wiz, GuardDuty).
• Cloud networking (VPC design, Transit Gateway, DNS).
• Multi-cloud exposure (AWS primary, with Azure/GCP support).
• Platform engineering mindset with focus on standardization and automation.

• Location: Chennai.
• The CPE team operates during standard office hours with flexible scheduling, supported by a 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents.
• Tools used: JIRA, Jira Service Desk (JSD), Confluence, GitLab.
• Communication is direct and async-first, with escalation paths defined for priority issues.
