Cloud Platform Engineer

Overview

Design, build, test, and deploy cloud application solutions integrating cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. Validate architecture feasibility, security, and performance through proof-of-architecture models.

What you'll do

• Administer, monitor, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot enterprise Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, file services, print services, certificates, and Windows services.
• Implement high-availability, clustering, backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Perform vulnerability remediation and maintain security and compliance standards.
• Support VMware and Hyper-V environments, including provisioning and performance troubleshooting.
• Resolve incidents, service requests, changes, and escalations using ITIL and ServiceNow processes.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, reports, and knowledge base articles.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server administration.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server installation, configuration, monitoring, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for administration, automation, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Experience with WSUS, SCCM/MECM, or equivalent patch-management platforms.
• 15 years of full-time education.
