Cloud Platform Engineer - Kubernetes, Officer

Overview

Cloud Platform Engineer focused on engineering, architecture, and design of a SaaS cloud platform in Microsoft Azure. The role leads and delivers enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure, DevOps processes, and security/compliance-aligned solutions.

What you'll do

• Own cloud platform engineering for a technical domain or initiative across multiple scrum teams.
• Lead planning, design, build, and deployment of enterprise Microsoft infrastructure in Azure Public Cloud.
• Design and deploy Azure services for foundational cloud infrastructure, shared services, and DevOps processes/tooling.
• Provide support for build, migration, and operations of Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain standards via proofs of concept for new cloud technologies.
• Define and ensure security and compliance controls for cloud solutions.
• Participate in automated DevOps release management pipeline and CI/CD continuous delivery practices.

What you'll need

• Minimum 10+ years of cloud deployment experience.
• At least 2 years in Azure 1 (Infrastructure as Code).
• Terraform (HCL) proficiency along with examples like Terragrunt, Azure ADO pipelines, shell, and Python scripting.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for deploying and managing services and clusters.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes networking models including Pod-to-Pod communication, Ingress controllers, and Azure CNI.
• Experience using ArgoCD and GitOps processes for deployments and managing resource quotas per namespace.
• Prior design/support for secrets using Azure Key Vault with IaC scripts and Kubernetes secrets.
