Compensation Consultant

Overview

BPM is seeking a Compensation Consultant to advise a variety of clients on compensation strategy, working primarily from home with occasional client video meetings.

What you'll do

• Analyze data and develop compensation structures, including job matching, benchmarking, data manipulation, pay range design, cost modeling, and internal equity reviews.
• Present findings clearly and professionally, translating complex analysis into practical insights for business leaders.
• Turn data into clear guidance that helps clients shape their overall compensation strategy.
• Bring differing perspectives together to find common ground on compensation philosophy.
• Explore how compensation strategies can reflect an organization's culture and values.

What you'll need

• Experience in compensation.
• Strategic thinking and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with clients.

Details

• Work from home; scheduled video meetings with clients are the exception.
• Travel is rare.
• Hours are chosen by the consultant and can fluctuate, as can the number of clients supported.
• Employees working a minimum of 30 hours a week are eligible for benefits, including paid holidays, PTO, and health insurance.
