Compliance Operations Specialist 1

Overview

Monitor Twilio voice, SMS, and email traffic to identify fraudulent, abusive, and non-compliant activity. Investigate complex cases and help protect customers, carriers, and consumers.

What you'll do

• Investigate cases and analyze bad-actor behavior.
• Identify non-compliant activity and take action to stop it.
• Minimize false positives when reviewing traffic.
• Identify trends and root-cause gaps.
• Use call-detail records and traffic data to detect patterns.
• Resolve urgent issues affecting businesses, carriers, and consumers.
• Support customers by email.

What you'll need

• 1–2 years of experience in fraud, abuse, or compliance.
• Experience in ecommerce, FinTech, or telecommunications.
• Availability for non-traditional schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Experience in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work with customers and carriers to resolve issues.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Zendesk, Airtable, Looker, or similar tools.
• Understanding of APIs and related technologies.
• Telecommunications background.

Details

• Remote in Colombia.
• Occasional travel may be required for project or team meetings.
