Overview
Configuration Management Engineer II focused on enabling AI adoption across HSV Software engineering through AI-enabled environments, tools, and workflows.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain AI-enabled engineering tools and workflows.
- Build utilities, automation scripts, and services for daily engineering work.
- Integrate AI solutions with development infrastructure, repositories, knowledge sources, and enterprise platforms.
- Support AI evaluation systems with benchmarks, datasets, metrics, regression checks, and reporting.
- Work with engineering users to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and improve usability.
- Apply LLM and agent concepts to knowledge retrieval, automation, tool usage, and workflow orchestration.
- Implement guardrails, monitoring, access controls, and human-review mechanisms.
What you'll need
- 2+ years of software development experience.
- Completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Python.
- Experience developing internal tools, automation, services, or engineering productivity solutions.
- Understanding of LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, tool calling, and RAG workflows.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and support engineering users.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating AI tools with CI/CD, enterprise platforms, knowledge bases, or access-control systems.
- Knowledge of AI evaluation, benchmarking, vector databases, embeddings, or knowledge retrieval.
- Familiarity with LangChain, CrewAI, LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with C++ or TCL.
- Knowledge of EDA, VLSI, verification, emulation, prototyping, Palladium, or Protium workflows.
