Consultant - Internal Audit & SOX

Overview

Consultant role in Enterprise Risk Advisory delivering Internal Audit and SOX solution offerings, with a focus on IT operational risk.

What you'll do

• Lead client engagements in governance, risk and compliance (GRC) internal audits, process reviews, standard operating procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 assessments.
• Be part of a team executing these projects for clients across industries.
• Independently execute these projects under direct supervision of a Manager, if experienced.
• Determine or participate in determining audit procedures necessary to achieve the desired audit results.
• Draft original work programs appropriate for assignments.
• Perform assigned audit work professionally in accordance with the approved work program.
• Obtain, analyze and appraise evidentiary data as a basis for an informed, objective opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of controls.
• Determine whether areas reviewed or audited are performing control activities in compliance with applicable policies and procedures and consistent with organizational objectives and high standards of administrative practice.
• Report audit findings and make recommendations for correcting noted control deficiencies, improving operations and reducing cost.

What you'll need

• Demonstrated IT operational risk knowledge or experience, including design of effective control processes, development of test requirements and/or testing controls for efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or Statistics, or Master's degree in Business Administration or Risk Management.
• Required skills: Data Literacy, Executive Presence, Information Security, Risk Management, Storytelling.
• English language proficiency: Proficient (C2).

Nice to have

• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), ISACA.
• ITIL 4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, Skillsoft.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
