Consultant –SAP ABAP

Overview

Consultant role focused on SAP ABAP development and technical delivery, including translating business requirements into technical specifications and optimizing ABAP applications.

What you'll do

• Analyze complex business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Create development, testing, and implementation plans with estimates.
• Perform performance tuning across multiple application functions.
• Identify and resolve application issues promptly as a technical expert.
• Manage multiple deliverables and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Facilitate workshops and document/validate customer requirements.

What you'll need

• Proven experience in SAP ABAP development, including custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori/UI5, and experience with CDS views.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience with performance tuning and clean core development principles.
• ABAP expertise with real-time exposure to RIWCEF components and object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency in ABAP 7.5 programming syntax.
