Staff Software Engineer

Overview

Staff Software Engineer to act as PSR for the CTSW subsystem and lead cyber-related forward-looking software features. Work independently and partner across teams to strengthen cyber posture for scanner desktop functionality.

What you'll do

• Lead cyber posture for the scanner desktop subsystem within the CTSW team.
• Conceptualize, design, develop, and test cyber software features for CTSW.
• Support 510k submissions for CT releases globally.
• Estimate and justify scope of work with facts.
• Maintain code quality using best practices, unit testing, and code quality automation.
• Provide technical leadership and guide 5–7 developers using agile/SCRUM.
• Lead design reviews, define module interfaces, and perform performance assessment/optimization.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM majors.
• Experience as PSR and in cyber security activities.
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
• Hands-on experience with genAI and related software development to improve team productivity.
• Strong software design patterns and Java coding principles.
• Ability to implement core data structures and algorithms using a language of choice.
• Experience building scalable and highly available distributed systems.
