Overview
AlphaSense is seeking transcript editors to convert recorded events into accurate, organized transcripts for client use.
What you'll do
- Edit transcripts to match audio files verbatim.
- Identify and correct speaker names, product names, and numbers.
- Review and proofread transcripts for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to company standards and format.
- Correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting issues.
- Ensure transcripts are contextually accurate and reflect relevant industry terminology.
- Organize, format, and deliver transcripts within set deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality for sensitive content.
What you'll need
- Proven experience in transcription, editing, or a related field.
- Strong listening skills to understand different accents and audio qualities.
- Excellent English command, including grammar, syntax, and punctuation.
- Attention to detail to produce error-free work.
- Proficiency with text editing and document formatting software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs).
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple editing projects at once.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI transcription tools.
- Broad financial literacy and understanding of financial market concepts.
- Knowledge of industry and company terminologies (e.g., finance, tech, medical, biotech).
- Experience editing calls, webcasts, or medical reports on a short timeline.
- Experience with CK Editor or other editing software.
