Corporate Account Executive - West

Overview

Drive enterprise sales for Chainguard's secure open-source software solutions across an assigned territory in the United States West Coast region.

What you'll do

• Define and execute sales plans for the assigned territory.
• Communicate product value propositions and differentiators to prospects and customers.
• Forecast sales and meet or exceed quota.
• Develop and manage inbound and outbound lead funnels.
• Track opportunities and business activity in CRM and supporting tools.
• Collaborate with product, support, and sales engineering teams to improve the sales cycle.
• Monitor competitors and their offerings.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of closing experience in SaaS, security, or DevOps.
• Residence in the West Coast region of the United States.
• Consistent record of exceeding sales targets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn new products and processes quickly.
• Willingness to travel to clients when required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with DevOps tooling, CI/CD platforms, or software development lifecycle practices.
• Startup experience.
• Strong understanding of the sales process and sales aptitude.
• Tech-savvy business acumen and ability to articulate value propositions in complex environments.

Details

• Remote role based in the United States West Coast region.
• On-target earnings: $250,000.
• Base salary: $125,000 USD.
• Client travel may be required.
