Cost Accountant

Overview

Cost Accountant in the Costing & Controlling team, responsible for accurate product costing, inventory valuation, manufacturing cost analysis, and profitability assessment, working with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Industrial Controlling, and Finance.

What you'll do

• Perform standard costing, actual costing, and product cost calculations.
• Analyse manufacturing costs and identify key cost drivers impacting profitability.
• Monitor and report material, labour, overhead, and production variances.
• Support monthly costing runs and inventory valuation processes.
• Ensure accurate cost allocation and absorption methodologies.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities related to costing and inventory.
• Prepare cost reports, manufacturing KPI dashboards, and management analysis.
• Perform annual standard cost updates and update standard costs for PIDs as required.
• Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable procedures.
• Support internal and external audits related to costing and inventory processes.

What you'll need

• Experience in cost accounting, product costing, manufacturing cost analysis, and inventory valuation.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
• CMA, CA, or CA Inter, with a strong foundation in costing and accounting.
• Strong analytical, accounting, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
