Cost Management Engineer

Overview

Cost Management Engineer responsible for developing product cost models, analyzing cost drivers, and supporting cost management decisions through analytics and digital solutions.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain product cost models using costing methodologies and digital tools.
• Analyze cost drivers, trends, opportunities, and variances across products and manufacturing processes.
• Support cost estimation for new product development, sourcing, and value engineering.
• Create dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions for cost visibility.
• Support automation and digital transformation using AI, machine learning, and data analytics.
• Analyze manufacturing, material, labor, and supply chain costs.
• Contribute to sustainability and carbon footprint assessments.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of experience in product costing, cost modeling, should-cost analysis, or manufacturing cost engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or Data Analytics.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, cost structures, BOM analysis, and supply chain cost drivers.
• Experience with Teamcenter Product Cost Management, aPriori, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Python, or equivalent analytics platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AI/ML technologies and automation for cost estimation and analytics.
• Understanding of sustainability, carbon footprint analysis, and cost optimization strategies.
