Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Design, build, and configure Salesforce applications to meet business process and application requirements, with a focus on Salesforce CPQ and complex Quote-to-Cash solutions.

What you'll do

• Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ, including product rules, price rules, quote templates, and approval processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce Billing and improve quote-to-cash processes.
• Develop and maintain Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.
• Create and manage APIs and integrations with MuleSoft, REST/SOAP, and third-party systems.
• Implement best practices around Salesforce development, data security, and platform performance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code and workflows.
• Participate in sprint planning, story grooming, and code reviews.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of application features.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce CPQ.
• 15 years of full-time education.
• Proficiency in Salesforce Experience Cloud and Salesforce CPQ.
• Strong understanding of application development lifecycle and methodologies.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other platforms and services.
• Knowledge of the Salesforce security and sharing model.

Nice to have

• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Billing.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce Billing and its data model.
• Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification.
• Experience Cloud Consultant certification.
• Platform Developer I/II certification.
• Salesforce Billing Specialist certification.
