Custom Software Engineer

Overview

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions by designing, coding, and enhancing components across systems or applications. You will use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to business needs.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with and manage the team to perform as a subject matter expert.
• Make decisions for the team.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
• Develop and optimize custom code for SAP HANA environments.
• Integrate SAP ABAP solutions with other enterprise applications and services.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP programming techniques and best practices.
• Ability to work with modern development tools and frameworks related to SAP ABAP.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and debugging in SAP HANA systems.
