Custom Software Engineer

Overview

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will design, code and enhance components across systems or applications, delivering scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs using modern frameworks and agile practices.

What you'll do

• Act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with and managing the team to perform, and take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and deliverables effectively.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in API Testing.
• 15 years of full-time education.
• Proficiency in API Testing.
• Experience designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for application programming interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks relevant to API testing.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues related to API functionality, performance, and security.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment processes to support agile development cycles.
• Understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services and their testing methodologies.

• Shift timing: 12:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
• API testing tool: Postman.
• API automation: Rest Assured.
• UI automation: Selenium with Java.
