Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Design, code and enhance custom software components that integrate into existing systems or applications, using modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to business needs.

What you'll do

• Perform independently and become a subject matter expert (SME).
• Actively participate and contribute in team discussions.
• Contribute solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
• Maintain and improve existing software components to enhance performance and reliability.
• Document software designs and development processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
• Assist junior team members with guidance and support in their development tasks.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Calypso (Software).
• Proficiency in Calypso (Software).
• Strong programming skills with experience in the software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Ability to design scalable and maintainable software solutions tailored to business needs.
• Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing software applications.
• Familiarity with integration techniques and working within complex system environments.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• 15 years full-time education.
