Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Develop custom software solutions by designing, coding and enhancing components across systems or applications, using modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. The role focuses on Data Warehouse ETL Testing.

What you'll do

• Act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with and managing the team to perform.
• Take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Warehouse ETL Testing.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in Data Warehouse ETL Testing.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Strong knowledge of data extraction, transformation and loading processes within data warehousing environments.
• Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL workflows.
• Ability to analyze data quality and integrity issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages to enhance testing efficiency.
• Understanding of database concepts, SQL queries and performance tuning related to ETL processes.
