Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Develop custom software solutions by designing, coding and enhancing components across systems or applications, using modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

What you'll do

• Perform independently and become a subject matter expert (SME).
• Actively participate in and contribute to team discussions.
• Contribute solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
• Maintain and improve existing software components to enhance performance and reliability.
• Document software designs and development processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
• Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support on technical challenges.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter.
• Must have: proficiency in Siemens Teamcenter.
• Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable software components.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues effectively.
• Familiarity with integration of custom solutions within larger system architectures.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• 15 years full-time education.
