Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Design, code and enhance custom software components across systems or applications, using modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

What you'll do

• Act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with and managing the team to perform.
• Take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
• 15 years of full-time education is required.
• Must-have skill: proficiency in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
• Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks relevant to manufacturing engineering.
• Ability to analyze complex system requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Familiarity with integration of manufacturing execution systems with enterprise applications.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and optimizing software performance within manufacturing environments.
