Customer Engineer/AI Engineer

Overview

Customer Engineer/AI Engineer focused on hands-on technical customer success using AI-enabled automation and grounded LLM solutions.

What you'll do

• Analyze recurring and complex customer-impacting engineering issues and find AI automation opportunities.
• Build AI-powered tools and workflows to support engineering diagnosis, troubleshooting, remediation, and prevention.
• Develop prompt harnesses and evaluation frameworks to test LLM solutions against real-world engineering scenarios.
• Design agentic workflows where LLMs reason over context, use tools, perform actions, validate results, and iterate.
• Investigate AI failures and improve prompts, context, tools, model selection, and workflows.
• Measure solutions using engineering metrics such as accuracy, resolution time, automation rate, reliability, latency, and cost.
• Partner with internal engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing tools and workflows.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience.
• Early-career experience in a technical implementation or customer-facing role with ability to translate requirements into technical tasks.
• Hands-on experience building production applications using LLMs, prompt engineering, structured outputs, and function/tool calling.
• Experience building agentic workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or equivalent (including MCP/tool integrations).
• Strong Python/software engineering skills with experience deploying, monitoring, evaluating, and optimizing AI workloads.
• Ability to document solutions, runbooks, and support procedures for maintainability and flag risks to senior team members.
