Senior Software Engineer- DataScience

Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Data Science) focused on building data science and machine learning systems, especially for NLP and predictive modeling, to support product and management teams.

What you'll do

• Develop data science projects involving predictive modeling, NLP, and statistical analysis.
• Use user datasets to perform research, develop models, and create data products with development and product teams.
• Build scalable data systems that leverage machine learning to enhance user experience.
• Develop prompt-engineering applications and benchmark large language models for business problems.
• Implement and experiment with agentic workflows to improve the job seeker experience.

What you'll need

• Knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms (regression, decision trees, Bayesian statistics, clustering, neural networks, deep learning, ensembles, etc.).
• Expert knowledge in Python.
• Experience with feature selection and optimizing classifiers.
• Backend technology experience such as Flask and Gunicorn.
• Experience with open-source NLP/data libraries such as SpaCy, NLTK, and Gensim.
• Experience with deep-learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with software stack components including programming languages, backend technologies, database modeling, CI, services-oriented architecture, and software testability.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Experience deploying models to production using tools like Jenkins.
• Experience with career/recruiting domain ontology/taxonomies such as O*NET – NR.
• Experience with prompt engineering and LLM-related areas including vector databases and LLM agents; LangChain and/or LlamaIndex.
