Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer on the Content Engineering team, building large-scale content processing using AI (NLP/LLMs) for document understanding and data extraction.

What you'll do

• Deploy production-grade LLM-based solutions for document understanding.
• Fine-tune and adapt state-of-the-art LLMs for specialized data extraction tasks.
• Develop prompt engineering strategies to improve reliability and performance on confidential business documents.
• Build and scale high-volume document data processing pipelines with accuracy and efficiency.
• Integrate LLM observability to trace, debug, and monitor extraction workflows.
• Own systems end-to-end, including design, coding, monitoring, testing, CI/CD, and on-call support.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer, primarily with Python.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying applications using LLMs.
• Experience extracting structured JSON from text using LLMs and deep understanding of prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in NLP libraries for tasks like NER, text classification, and preprocessing.
• Experience with LLM tracing, debugging, and evaluation platforms such as Langfuse.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
