Overview

Customer Success Engineer with German, serving as the primary technical owner for long-term customer outcomes across the Veeam Data Platform.

What you'll do

• Configure customer accounts, customize backup policies and storage.
• Lead onboarding, adoption, and optimization; orient stakeholders.
• Run success planning and align business outcomes with product adoption.
• Conduct assessments, build protection plans, and recommend software products and architectures.
• Execute recovery simulations and use DRMM to track and report resilience posture.
• Monitor churn risk signals, define mitigation plans, and support renewal strategy.

What you'll need

• 5+ years in customer-facing engineering roles focused on data backup and recovery (mid-level).
• Advanced English and German language skills.
• Hands-on expertise across operating systems, virtualization, storage, and scripting/automation.
• Experience designing and executing protection plans, migrations, and recovery simulations.
• VMCE certification required (may be completed post-hire within an agreed timeframe).
• Ability to translate business outcomes into technical adoption roadmaps with measurable value.
