IT Administrator (Intern)

Overview

IT Admin Intern (6 months) in Bengaluru, supporting employees and managing IT assets and endpoint operations. You’ll troubleshoot issues, handle onboarding/offboarding equipment, maintain inventory and documentation, and help improve IT support processes.

What you'll do

• Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, software, and basic network infrastructure.
• Respond to IT support requests and provide timely technical assistance.
• Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, connectivity, access, and system issues.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing, configuring, and collecting IT equipment.
• Perform system updates, backups, security checks, and routine IT maintenance.
• Maintain accurate IT inventory records, including hardware details, asset assignments, and device status.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Comfort troubleshooting technical issues and learning new tools quickly.
• Strong attention to detail for managing IT assets and documentation.
• Good communication skills and a customer-first approach when supporting employees.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for help.
