Associate Engineer, IT Helpdesk

Overview

Associate Engineer in IT Helpdesk supporting Druva employees and their endpoints, while handling systems administration, device/asset management, and IT operations processes.

What you'll do

• Provide L1/L2 IT helpdesk support for endpoint issues on Mac, Windows, and Linux.
• Manage end-to-end employee IT lifecycle including onboarding, access/permissions changes, and off-boarding.
• Provision, support, and troubleshoot laptops and Virtual Machines and maintain global communication technologies.
• Administer and automate Active Directory and Okta integrations (SSO) plus GSuite and Azure (O365).
• Manage IT assets and provision devices using an MDM solution such as Endpoint Central.
• Proactively monitor internal/external applications, systems, and global infrastructure components.
• Use modern AI tools (e.g., Gemini) to improve IT workflows and operations; maintain IT documentation and policies.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of professional experience in IT Helpdesk, IT Support, or IT Operations.
• A Computer Science-oriented degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with service desk systems specifically Freshdesk ITSM.
• Hands-on laptop and end-user application management across Windows, MacOS, and Ubuntu/Linux.
• Foundational experience with network infrastructure, telecommunications, Audio-Video systems, EMM solutions, and cloud application management.
• Hands-on experience with identity and access management (SSO, Okta).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for end-user support and staff training.
