IT Support Specialist

Overview

IT Support Specialist for an onsite, cross-functional IT Service Desk and IT Asset Management team, handling both ticket-based help and IT asset lifecycle tasks.

What you'll do

• Provide dedicated onsite IT support to employees.
• Handle ticket-based IT support, resolving some tickets independently and escalating others.
• Assist with asset inventory, including receiving asset deliveries and following asset tracking and lifecycle procedures.
• Support new hire onboarding by setting up devices and accessories.
• Troubleshoot end-user technical issues via phone, chat, email, or onsite.
• Log and document Service Desk issues and work using a service management solution.
• Manage and maintain AV equipment and configure/deploy Zoom Room technologies.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical support environment.
• Strong familiarity with MacOS, ChromeOS, and Windows OS platforms.
• Strong familiarity with Google suite applications (Sheets/Docs/Gmail, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with IT asset management tools and processes (lifecycle tracking, inventory control, compliance).
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Ability to document complex technical issues consistently and thoroughly.
