Cybersecurity Developer

Overview

Develop embedded automotive cybersecurity software for active safety and user-experience products. The role covers secure vehicle features, vulnerability remediation, testing, debugging, and development evidence.

What you'll do

• Implement secure boot, secure flashing and updates, secure diagnostics, and secure communications.
• Develop cryptographic, authentication, authorization, and security-logging services.
• Perform detailed design, coding, unit testing, static analysis, and bench debugging.
• Analyze vulnerabilities, field issues, and defects and implement verified fixes.
• Conduct threat-informed design discussions and participate in peer reviews.
• Maintain traceability and development evidence under quality and cybersecurity plans.

What you'll need

• Experience with embedded C/C++, microcontrollers, RTOS/Linux, and debugging tools.
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR, CAN/CAN FD, Ethernet, UDS, and secure-software development.
• Understanding of applied cryptography, key handling, and embedded attack surfaces.
• Experience with unit testing, static analysis, configuration management, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of Automotive SPICE.

Nice to have

• HSM integration and secure-element experience.
• Python experience.
• Penetration-test report analysis experience.
• Exposure to ISO/SAE 21434.
