Data Analysis - SQL + Core Domain Data skills - Associate 2

Overview

Support data science work that turns raw information into clear insights, using SQL and core domain data skills to help solve business questions and inform decisions, within PwC's Acceleration Center India Data, Analytics & AI practice.

What you'll do

• Analyze client data using SQL and statistical methods to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Support exploratory and descriptive analysis to translate raw data into actionable insights for decision making.
• Build and refine data models, data pipelines, and data quality checks to support analytics workstreams.
• Apply machine learning and predictive modeling techniques to help solve business problems.
• Develop visualizations and summary outputs that communicate findings clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Collaborate with team members to gather requirements, interpret results, and adapt analysis as scope changes.
• Use AI tools, digital tooling, and programming languages to improve data science workflows and troubleshooting.
• Validate analysis outputs against source data and technical standards while learning from feedback and project experience.

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Systems Engineering.
• Applying SQL for data extraction, cleaning, and validation tasks.
• Analyzing data patterns to support client delivery and issue resolution.
• Building familiarity with data pipelines, modeling, and quality checks.
• Demonstrating curiosity while learning technical standards and commercial context.
• Communicating findings clearly and adapting to varied team needs.
