Data Analyst - SAS and SQL

Overview

Data/Information Management Analyst 2 role applying specialty area knowledge to monitor, assess, analyze and evaluate processes and data, identify policy gaps, and make recommendations.

What you'll do

• Monitor, assess, analyze and/or evaluate processes and data.
• Identify policy gaps and formulate policies.
• Interpret data and make recommendations.
• Research and interpret factual information.
• Identify inconsistencies in data or results, define business issues and formulate recommendations on policies, procedures or practices.
• Perform data activities such as database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and database management or database architecture / design engineering.
• Carry out routine operational or administrative work, administering defined procedures, analyses and report preparation.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What you'll need

• 2-5 years relevant experience.
• SAS.
• SQL.
• Data Analytics.
• Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Banking background with Cards knowledge is preferred.
• Know-how on analytic tools (SAS E-miner, Knowledge Seeker, SPSS etc.).
• Big data and machine learning experience (R, Python etc.) is a definite plus.
• The ability to engage resources outside of their direct control to achieve objectives.
