Data Analyst

Overview

Developing data analyst role applying specialty knowledge to monitor, assess, analyze and evaluate processes and data, identify policy gaps, and make recommendations.

What you'll do

• Monitor, assess, analyze and/or evaluate processes and data.
• Interpret data and research factual information.
• Identify inconsistencies in data or results and define business issues.
• Formulate recommendations on policies, procedures or practices, and identify policy gaps.
• Perform data activities including database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and database management or architecture/design engineering.
• Carry out routine operational or administrative work, administering defined procedures, analyses and report preparation.
• Assess risk when making business decisions, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and escalating and reporting control issues with transparency.

What you'll need

• 0-2 years relevant experience.
• Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience.
• Know-how on analytic tools such as SAS E-miner, Knowledge Seeker, SPSS etc.
• The ability to engage resources outside of their direct control to achieve objectives.

Nice to have

• Big data and machine learning experience with R, Python etc.
