Data Analytics Lead Analyst

Overview

The Data Analytics Lead Analyst provides subject-matter expertise in data analytics, contributes to directional strategy and standards, and delivers complex data science analysis and projects that impact the sub-function and business area.

What you'll do

• Integrate subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area.
• Contribute to data analytics standards around which others will operate.
• Apply an in-depth understanding of how data analytics collectively integrates within the sub-function.
• Coordinate with and contribute to the objectives of the entire function.
• Guide, influence and convince colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers using developed communication and diplomacy skills.
• Resolve occasionally complex and highly variable issues.
• Produce detailed analysis of issues where the best course of action is not evident from the available information.
• Recommend and take appropriate actions based on analysis.
• Be responsible for the volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of data science projects.
• Perform short-term planning and resource planning.
• Assess risk appropriately when business decisions are made, considering the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.
• Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
• Adhere to Policy and apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices.
• Escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency.

What you'll need

• 10 years experience using codes for statistical modeling of large data sets.
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
• Potentially Masters degree.
• Developed communication and diplomacy skills.
• Basic commercial awareness.
