Data Delivery Leads / Data Architects - Manager

Overview

As a Data Delivery Leads / Data Architects - Manager, you will lead data engineering work that designs and builds data infrastructure, pipelines, integration, and transformation solutions that turn raw data into actionable insights for clients. You will motivate and develop teams, manage performance, and take ownership of planning, budgeting, execution, and completion across multiple workstreams within the Data and Analytics Engineering practice.

What you'll do

• Lead data engineering workstreams for client delivery, guiding teams through planning, design, build, and deployment activities.
• Direct the development of data pipelines, integration patterns, and transformation logic across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables while balancing multiple client priorities.
• Review data architecture approaches, modeling decisions, and technical designs to support scalable data platforms.
• Apply tools and platforms such as Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, and Azure Databricks to build and refine solutions.
• Translate business needs into data architecture strategies that support analytics, reporting, and operational use cases.
• Coach team members on data engineering methods, problem solving, and delivery practices.
• Validate data quality, performance tuning, query optimization, and database administration activities across delivery work.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and implementation issues early in the delivery cycle and escalate when needed.
• Support client discussions on data strategy, platform modernization, and data governance topics.

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 8 years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English required.

Nice to have

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics.
• Leading data delivery workstreams across client-facing engagements.
• Architecting data solutions spanning pipelines, modeling, and integration.
• Managing project planning, budgeting, timelines, and deliverables.
• Mentoring teams while reviewing work to deepen skills.
• Applying cloud platforms, Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure Data Factory.
