Data Engineer

Overview

Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection and processing, including building data pipelines and ETL processes that migrate and deploy data across systems.

What you'll do

• Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing.
• Create data pipelines and implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.
• Ensure data quality and troubleshoot data quality and integration issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Document data processes and workflows to maintain clarity and support knowledge sharing.
• Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in their tasks.
• Perform independently and become an SME; actively participate in team discussions and contribute to solving work-related problems.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in Data Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of data pipeline architecture and ETL process design.
• Experience with data storage solutions and database management.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and distributed computing.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data quality and integration issues.
• Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
