Data Engineer

Overview

Data Engineer responsible for building and operating data pipelines, maintaining a Snowflake data warehouse, and collaborating with data science/analytics teams on reliable, secure data.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Fivetran and dbt.
• Implement and maintain a Snowflake data warehouse.
• Ensure data is accurate, reliable, and accessible while maintaining security protocols.
• Create and maintain documentation for data pipeline processes and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data pipeline performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to data engineering best practices.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience with Fivetran, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Experience with SQL and programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
