Data Engineer III

Overview

Data Engineer III (hands-on) who turns business and platform data into actionable insights and helps build pipelines and dashboards for analytics and reporting.

What you'll do

• Analyze business and platform performance metrics to surface trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain data pipelines feeding dashboards, reports, and analytical tools.
• Use Python and SQL to extract, clean, transform, and analyze data.
• Build and maintain BI dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into analysis and reporting.
• Support ad hoc data and reporting requests and help resolve data quality issues.
• Document metrics definitions, data sources, and reporting logic for consistency.

What you'll need

• 3 - 7 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python for data processing, analysis, and automation.
• Proficiency in SQL and deep knowledge of data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift).
• Experience building dashboards and reports using BI/data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with data governance principles and data quality best practices.
• A degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in the finance industry.
• Experience with ETL tools/technologies such as DBT, Fivetran, ADF, SSIS.
• Experience utilizing GenAI/LLM technologies (e.g., prompt engineering, LLM-based processing, RAG pipelines).
