Overview

Manager, Data Engineering to lead the design and delivery of scalable data pipelines and data platforms supporting analytics, reporting, and AI use cases.

What you'll do

• Lead multiple analytics projects and initiatives within GBSC and Mastercard.
• Design and develop scalable data pipelines and platforms.
• Manage and mentor a team of data engineers.
• Partner with business and analytics teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Drive best practices in data quality, governance, and security.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of data engineering projects and optimize workflows for performance and scalability.

What you'll need

• Experience in data engineering and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Strong Python skills.
• Experience with data platforms (e.g., Databricks).
• Understanding of data architecture approaches (Lakehouse, Warehousing).
• Stakeholder and team management skills.
• Experience working with large datasets and enterprise systems.
