Data Engineer

Overview

Data Engineer role that applies data engineering principles to integrate, model and automate data pipelines and data systems.

What you'll do

• Demonstrate use and application of data engineering principles to integrate, model, and automate data pipelines and data systems.
• Master skills in at least two of the following data engineering areas: development of data integration pipelines between data systems, data security, ETL and ELT, quality engineering activities, and data operation engineering.
• Work on assigned tasks or portions of projects, determining and developing the approach to meet desired objectives.
• May lead projects or research with limited scope and complexity.

What you'll need

• Degree and 2-4 years of experience, or no degree and 6-8 years of combined education and equivalent work experience (typically 1 year of experience equals 1 year of education).

Details

• Works under limited supervision.
• Normally reports to the Data Engineering Manager.
