Overview
The Data Engineer will build and maintain data ingestion, storage, retrieval, and transformation solutions, while supporting data quality and continuous improvement of data technologies.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement data ingestion processes.
- Design and optimize data storage and retrieval solutions.
- Build and maintain ETL processes to transform and load data into data lakes or warehouses.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver relevant datasets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Ensure data quality and integrity in data pipelines.
- Research and evaluate new data technologies and tools for continuous improvement.
What you'll need
- A bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Statistics, or a master's degree in Data Science.
