Data Engineer – Snowflake & FHIR.

Overview

Data Engineer focused on building reporting and ETL solutions that integrate multiple data sources into a centralized Snowflake repository, with strong Life Sciences and FHIR knowledge.

What you'll do

• Create reporting solutions by integrating data from multiple systems into a centralized repository.
• Build ETL workflows for SaaS platforms using Snowflake (and related options).
• Design data models and implement PL/SQL.
• Implement advanced security controls for sensitive/PII/PHI data in cloud environments.
• Support high-availability data warehouse environments with automated monitoring and performance tuning.
• Set up cloud IAM and network security controls (security groups/virtual firewalls) for VNET/VPC traffic.
• Build automated CI/CD using GitLab and cloud CLI.

What you'll need

• 4+ years experience in reporting systems and ETL (Snowpipe or Snowpark), data warehousing (Snowflake), FHIR, SQL, Azure or AWS development, and Python.
• Experience with SSRS & Power BI or similar reporting tools in a Life Sciences domain (good to have).
• Experience implementing ETL workflows in SaaS platforms such as Snowflake/Databricks/Cloudera.
• Experience designing large-scale data warehouse techniques and implementations.
• Experience analyzing and monitoring software/hardware requirements and taking action accordingly.
• Knowledge of cloud IAM services to secure system integrations across cloud services.
• Knowledge of CI/CD automation with GitLab via cloud CLI.
