Overview

Data Engineering Advisor responsible for designing and delivering scalable cloud-based data solutions, analytics capabilities, and automated workflows in an agile environment.

What you'll do

• Design and implement solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Build scalable data solutions using AWS, Databricks, Teradata Vantage, and CI/CD frameworks.
• Automate data workflows, validation, and monitoring.
• Conduct peer code reviews and manage merge requests.
• Oversee production releases and apply Agile principles.
• Collaborate with development teams and subject matter experts to interpret business logic.

What you'll need

• 10–13 years of experience in application program development, or equivalent education and work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of Python, Databricks, SQL, and Unix.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, S3, VPC, EC2, RDS, and IAM.
• Experience with Spark and real-time analytics frameworks.
• Experience with large-scale business intelligence or analytics development projects.
• Experience with SDLC, web services, modular code, data transformation, and troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• AWS certification.
