Data Engineering Lead - Finance

Overview

Data COE Data Engineer role leading a team of data engineers to design, build and maintain scalable, secure, cloud-based data solutions and pipelines for Mondelēz International's finance data.

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based data solutions.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses or data lakes.
• Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Ensure efficient data storage and retrieval for optimal performance.
• Work closely with data architects, data modelers, and product owners, and stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
• Create and lead a team of data engineers (external/internal) to ensure timely deliverables fulfilling all data engineering guidelines and standards.

What you'll need

• Programming: Python, PySpark, SQL.
• ETL & Integration: Databricks (Mandatory); AecorSoft/DataSphere.
• Data warehousing: SCD Types, Fact and Dimensions, Star Schema.
• Medallion Architecture: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum.
• AWS Cloud Services: Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, Athena.
• Supporting technologies: Airflow (Composer), Automic.
• Soft skills: problem-solving, communication with Product Owners, analysts and stakeholders, analytical thinking, attention to detail, adaptability.

Nice to have

• Data modeling: Erwin (Optional).
• Visualization: PowerBI (Optional), Tableau (Optional).
• GenAI exposure: Gemini/Genie/Kiro etc.
