Data Engineering Senior Analyst - Cigna Healthcare

Overview

Cloud Data Engineer role focused on architecting, developing, and optimizing AI data solutions on cloud platforms.

What you'll do

• Provide technical leadership for Cloud and AI platform output within application development.
• Implement AI platform strategy aligned with business and product objectives.
• Own the AI and Data platform stack for the solution aligned to product vision.
• Execute software projects to deliver on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Collaborate with other senior leads to build scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
• Lead and mentor junior software development team members.

What you'll need

• 5+ years in software/data engineering roles.
• Proven AWS services expertise including Lambda, S3, IAM, KMS, and API Gateway.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform (or similar IaC tools) for cloud provisioning and management.
• Strong data engineering skills with Spark / AWS Glue / Databricks, including ETL/ELT pipeline optimization.
• SQL proficiency (preferred) and Python required for automation and data processing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

Nice to have

• Experience with regulated environments or multi-region/multi-currency systems.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and iterative delivery.
• Exposure to Jira or similar project management tools.
