Data Engineering- Senior Developer/Analyst

Overview

Experienced developer/analyst role in the Data Engineering and Business Intelligence team within MUFG EMEA Technology, supporting and delivering data applications across MUFG bank systems.

What you'll do

• Work in shifts based on rota.
• Identify and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain and update system technical documents and service operation manuals.
• Ensure the support provided is within the Service Level agreement set with business and technology groups.
• Ensure IT governance, standards and procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Plan and perform software releases as part of the Release and Change process.
• Develop and deliver application software changes according to requirement.
• Investigate production incidents/problems and provide solutions to fix the issues.
• Assess impact on supported systems based on production changes.
• Follow standard tooling such as ServiceNow to manage Incidents, Problem and Change.
• Maintain good and detailed knowledge of AMD DEBI (Data Engineering and Business Intelligence) applications to effectively provide BAU support.
• Ensure effective communications are maintained through timely sharing of information with technology and business stakeholders.
• Liaise with external vendors such as Informatica and Hitachi for maintenance support on application tools.
• Cover on-call support on a team rota basis.

What you'll need

• Around 5 to 8 years of experience driving different data solutions end to end.
