Data Migration Engineer

Overview

Execute data migration by extracting, transforming, and loading data into the target system according to defined rules, with a focus on data quality and consistency.

What you'll do

• Extract data from source systems, transform it to meet target environment requirements, and load it accurately.
• Build and execute migration scripts and monitor the migration workflow.
• Validate migration results to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and migration objectives.
• Document migration processes and maintain clear records of data transformations and validations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot migration workflows to promptly address discrepancies or failures.
• Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support during migration tasks.
• Perform independently and become an SME; actively contribute to team discussions and provide solutions to work-related problems.

What you'll need

• Must have: Proficiency in Looker Studio.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Looker Studio.
• Experience in designing and executing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Strong analytical skills to validate data quality and ensure consistency throughout migration.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools to build and run migration scripts efficiently.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues in a timely manner.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• 15 years full time education.
